It's very easy to forget that what you eat directly affects how you feel. I had cake and ice cream last night for my brother's birthday party and a couple hours later I felt like crap. The chocolate cake was yummy and the ice cream delicious, but the sugar crash it caused in my body two hours later was so not worth it. It's so easy to forget how good I feel now that I eat healthily. It's weird to think that most of my life I was going through highs and crashes and not really realizing it. I really never made the connection between mood and food until the past year or so. (I'm slow, I know.)
