An Easter resurrection
Check it out y'all, Fatslayer is back. It's so sad when bloggers go missing that it's nice when one comes back.
To celebrate I shall binge on chocolate creme eggs and Peeps, assuming they have not completely frozen in the trunk of my car. 32 degrees on Easter day?! Maybe the end is nigh and Jesus really is coming back today.
Earlier: Weight: 184 - Pounds left to lose: 24
Later: Eat, drink and be merry

Hey, don't blame me for eating creme eggs and Peeps!
Happy Easter xx

Hi, again. Happy Easter. Fatslayer brings up an interesting problem... what happens when you stop paying attention to whatever your self-improvement program was. I have experienced this more than once with my myriad SIPs. At first, I was fine. Didn't smoke or drink or eat too much - depending on the SIP. Felt fine. Felt superior and victorious. Then, I'd slip. Well, it was just once. I'm fine, superior, etc. Then, again. Then, I'd be back where I started, or worse. I knew I had to break out of *that* rut, or else. Here's the trick - all I had to do was "know" it. I never picked up a glass of wine again after I "knew" I'd be sorry. Same with cigs. I had figured out that this entire SIP thing is a *mental* issue, not a physical one. After that, I was home free.
Althought, it's too early to tell about the weight thing - I've only been at my goal weight for the past 3-4 months, but I do "know" that I have to eat those smaller, more healthful portions. Grapefruit for dinner, anyone? It's amazing how delicious and filling it is these days!
One really does have to know oneself and beware of the "superior" trap. It seems clear, PQ, that you are well aware of that trap. I think these blogs have helped us all become aware. I don't have a blog, but you, PQ, and everyone who visits this one, are truly inspiring! Thanks, everyone!
